My Very Last Blog Post :(

I feel kinda sad that this semester has ended because I think this blog thing really improved my thought process. I have also learned that my typing is a lot faster so yay me! Another thing I'm pretty siked about is I'm taking another english class next semester. I never really liked English so I guess this is a newfound love. I will miss the class and the people. I think that this was such a great class for me to take since I really found interest in everything I did. I think this course helped me improve as a writer. So thank you blog! lol :)

The last class

Alright so apparently a lot of people decided to not go to class the last day. Their loss because there was donuts. Also I hope they check the blog because if I didn't go I would have had no idea about the papers extra two pages. I never did footnotes before or a notes page so I guess that was nice to learn. Overall I really liked this class and had a fun time learning how to find passion in my assignments. Although it was graded work I felt like every piece was enough of me to make it feel less like homework and more like me expressing myself. I had a great time this semester since I never really had much success in school so when I had my narrative read out loud the second day of class it made me more courageous and proud of my work. I lost a lot of my confidence in writing in high school because my teachers didn't encourage expression and with my writing in class I felt like I got a lot of that back.

Sunday

Alright so I just woke up and am starting to work on my review guide for my civil war class. I can't believe the semester is over in just 2 weeks! I feel like it was just beginning not too long ago! Is it possible I'm going to be a second semester freshman already? How is this possible? Wasn't it just thanksgiving? Oh well. I guess time flies when your doing a ton of school work. :)

Class

We picked our group project thing. It's King Henry VIII's wives which should be an interesting narrative/paper/research/I don't know what else. It sounds kinda interesting but also like a pain in the butt since their are quite a few requirements. I like the historical narrative idea. I like being creative in my writing so I think that will give me a great opportunity to do so. I'm pretty excited to do it but more so excited for christmas break! :)

ThanksGIVING!

My Thanksgiving break was awesome! I had so much fun seeing all of my family and friends. I actually got a longer break since I left on tuesday! It was nice to get away from WMU and spend some quality time in my bed :) I also had fun on thanksgiving because my favorite food it MASHED POTATOES! Clearly I'm still a little enthusiastic over them as they are their own food group in my mind. I had fun seeing all of my aunts and uncles. It was also fun to have my cousins from Australia come for the wondrous turkey day! It was such a fun break

Missing A Few

Alright well I guess it was thanksgiving break and I completely forgot to write a blog so I guess I'll just have to make up for them now! So the last class I remember was we worked on our genres. It was actually a lot more fun than I thought. Although doing a musical wasn't the easiest of genres it was really fun to write one. I had a lot of fun an was quite inspired while writing it. It was pretty interesting that I was writing characters that I had actually felt related to.

My weekend

So this weekend I went to Chicago with my family for my birthday! It was so much fun! We saw my favorite musical, Les Miserables. It was so good! I think I cried during every song. Every song touched me so much. The cast did a wonderful job of expressing the emotion to the cast. I think it was a great way to work on my paper, to see how a musical actually came together. I'm so glad I went with my family and it was so beautiful. I am really excited to get to the prime of my project because the show gave me such an enthusiastic stance for working on my paper.
